Sunday Services
Two Sunday worship services are offered from the Sunday after Labor Day through the second Sunday in May: one at 9:30 a.m. and one at 11:00 a.m. The services are identical. There is one service at 10:00 a.m. from the third Sunday of May through Labor Day Sunday, and on the last three Sundays of December.
Sunday services usually consist of music, readings, a sermon presented by our minister, guest speakers, or Fellowship members, and open discussion. The ambiance of Sunday morning worship is enhanced by the community art exhibits hanging in our sanctuary and the flower arrangements provided by members of the congregation. You are invited to join us for refreshments in the Social Hall after each service. The members of our congregation attend church in a variety of styles of clothing. You are welcome to wear "business attire," shorts and sandals, or anything in between.
Other Services
Soulful Sundown
Four or more times each year, an experiential, embodied worship service takes place at 6:00 p.m. This is more informal and responsive to the seasons of the year and our lives. It often includes dancing, drumming, meditation, and group sharing.
Wheel of the Year
Worship is offered at UUFC on or around the sabbats (solstices, equinoxes, and cross quarters) of the earth-based Wheel of the Year.
