| Worship serves many purposes. It encourages us to think on a regular basis about elements of our lives--our values, ethics, emotions, relationships, history, joys and sorrows; it can remind us of our relationship with the earth and with cultures and philosophies that have preceeded us; it can help us discover how to keep alive and hopeful despite our feelings of grief and loss; and it can help us give form and shape to the joys in our lives. Our services at UUFC attempt to touch on all of these aspects of worship. |
