Path to Membership
Once you have been attending services for a reasonable amount of time and feel that UUFC is your religious home, you may want to consider becoming a member. Unless you transfer from another Unitarian Universalist congregation, we recommend following a path to membership:
1) Attend the two session "Newcomer Orientation" which includes a free dinner and two meetings with our minister.
2) Ask the minister or a Board member to witness your signature in the guest book.
3) Make a pledge of record to the congregation, signifying your commitment to give time or money or both to support the work of our religious community.
By all means, find ways to meet people and to become involved in the life of our congregation. As Unitarian Universalists, we know that free choice in membership is essential, so we do not require any of these steps. We simply recommend them for a full sense of connection and belonging.
